Jerry Yang Stepping Down as Yahoo CEO

Jerry Yang has announced that he will be stepping down from the CEO role at Yahoo! as soon as his replacement is identified. The news of Yang's imminent departure has re-started speculation of a microsoft buy out. Sources in Redmond seem to think a search-only deal would be more enticing to Microsoft than a full company buy out at this stage. Time will tell, so stay tuned!
