Mechanical Engineer Grads in High Demand

Mechanical Engineering grads top the list of highest "in demand" majors. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a starting salary for Mechanical Engineer grads averages just over $57,000. Demand for Mechanical Engineers is expected to hold strong as baby boomers retire and senior mechanical engineers progress to managerial roles.
