If you're not yet convinced that mobile technologies are dominating the IT sector, Indeed.com has posted some interesting statistics that might change your mind. The website has posted the top keywords found in online job postings.
At the top of the list in terms of growth is HTML5, which has increased by over 500,000 percent since 2010 to occupy a place in nearly a half-percent of all postings.
Although "Social Media" has fallen off by about a half percent in the past couple months, it has still grown by 2.5 million percent since it first appeared back in 2006. The phrase is now being found in nearly 2 percent of all postings. Here is the full list:

As a point of comparison, another keyword not on their list, .NET, is still going strong, with a place in more than 3 percent of all Indeed.com job postings. SQL can be found in 4.5 percent of all postings. Linux is found in 2.5 percent of all postings.
