Reimbursements
If the amount your employer reimburses is not equal to your expenses, you may need to account for the difference. For example, if your expenses exceed your reimbursements, you may be able to deduct the excess. On the other hand, if your reimbursements exceed your expenses, you may have to pay taxes on the excess.
