Black Family Technology
Awareness Week - 2/9 to 2/15
A nationwide, U.S. initiative that encourages and helps communities, companies,
educational institutions and organizations, to host activities that promote the
importance of technology, engineering, science and math to the Black community.

Activities across the U.S., posted by those who are hosting.
Annual Black
Engineer of the Year Awards Conference - 2/13 to 2/15
Typically held in Baltimore, as it is this year. Attracts top
professionals and students from every technological field across the U.S. It
honors Black technology professionals and presents many learning and networking
opportunities for all who attend.
National Engineers Week -
2/16 to 2/22
Encourages companies, government, educational institutions, libraries and other
organizations throughout the U.S., to host and participate in activities that
increase public awareness and appreciation of technology and engineering.
Includes sections with ideas and resources for professionals, teachers, students
and others to host or participate in events. Also includes a Local
Activities Forum organized by state, for discussing ideas and announcing
events, and locating events in your area.

Lists several diversity career-related events in the U.S., during this Black
History Month and beyond. Also features a career section, with links to the jobs
of hiring employers who encourage diversity. Access to the events calendar
