Jobs at Start-Up Companies

What are rewards of working for a start-up company?

It could be a challenging, ground-floor opportunity, especially if you get in early. If you stick it out, you may experience extraordinary career growth.

If the start-up company offers incentives such as profit-sharing, partnerships or stock options, you might make a lot of money in just a few years.

A start-up typically has a small-company atmosphere, where everybody knows everybody and individual contributors are highly prized. Even the CEO might know your name. For many people, that's much more desirable than the impersonal working conditions at some corporate giants.
