Telecommuting GraphicTelecommuting
A Matter of Trust
Part II

There are two, typical types of telecommuters.
One is self-employed as an independent consultant, freelance, or small-business owner, who provides services to companies such as programming, copy writing, and graphics. The other is a temp or permanent, computer-savvy employee, who works a few days a week from home, doing the same tasks he or she does at the office.

The latter type is probably what most people mean when they say they want to telecommute. I also think it's what Mr. Nilles had in mind when he coined the term, so that's what I'll stick with when I refer to "telecommuting jobs" here.
