Rewire Your Resume for the Internet

Resume Writing Services

If you absolutely can't stand the thought of writing your own resume, consider hiring a resume writing service to write it for you.

Make sure the service creates a resume custom-tailored for you, and not just a cookie-cutter resume. You can create your own cookie-cutter resume for free, by referring to the many resources on the Web. But a custom-tailored resume is much better.

Also make sure the service provides your resume in several formats, suitable for hand carrying, mailing, emailing, faxing, and scanning. Ask for the files so you can load your resume into a word processor or text editor, to copy and paste it into the forms at job banks. You might also want to tweak it a bit without paying the service to do it.
