"Arbitrator"

From , former About.com Guide

Definition: An impartial third party who facilitates conflict negotiations between employers and employees or unions and employers, during legal proceedings called arbitration. Because the final decisions of an arbitrator are legally binding, it's a good idea to hire a lawyer to sit on your side of the table. But it's typically not required.
