A new organization is being launched this week whose mission to connect returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan to the civilian tech community.
VetsinTech (ViT) launches July 31st in San Fransisco, featuring Craigslist's Craig Newmark, Mayor Ed Lee, David Chiu, as well as vet entrepreneur and author Craig Mullaney.
ViT is designed to be an independent organization that will bring a tech network, programs and resources to any veterans who are interested in technology, as well as education, entrepreneurship and employment opportunities.
