Each year, con artists lead thousands of Federal job seekers into believing that, for a fee, their chances of landing U.S. Federal jobs are guaranteed or greatly improved. This is simply not true. Regardless of what the con artists lead you to believe, you can't buy your way into a Federal job any more than you can buy your way into any other legit job. The same goes for state and local government jobs.
Despite the FTC's admirable actions to protect us, you can bet that, until they get caught, many con artists are still lurking out there, waiting for the next Federal-job sucker to come along.
